Christopher oversees the UK P&I Club’s underwriting policies and operations.   He joined Thomas Miller in 2001, having started working within the P&I sector in 1989 and previously was in a commercial law practice.  From 2002-2007 he was based in Hong Kong to head the Managers’ operations in Asia-Pacific, working closely with the Members in the region. Christopher previously held a senior claims role.

He has degrees in Economics and Law.  He lived in Hong Kong for 7 years and in Norway for 11 years. Mr. Brown speaks Danish and Norwegian. His experience includes overseeing major casualties, including collisions, total losses and wreck removal claims. Member of the International Group Reinsurance Sub-Committee (RISC) and Large Casualty Working Groups.
